Summer Reading: Summer of My German Soldier

Summer of My German Soldier: By Bette Green
1. One interesting thing I remember from the text was how Patty (the main character) who is a Jew helped an escaped POW Nazi.
2. A lesson teenagers might learn from this book is don't take things for granted because special things can come and go and can be lost forever.
3. I would recomend it to a type of student who likes to learn about history (mostly the World War II era). Also a type of person who likes a love story.
